Adelante Juntos is proud to have entered into a partnership with Connect the Hearts, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, in providing aid and assistance to under-served and impoverished Guatemalan communities. The goal is to help these communities meet their basic human needs and improve the living conditions of their families, especially in the areas of Water, Sanitation and Health (WSH), as well as supporting childhood education.
Connect the Hearts volunteers were key members of our Feb 2024 trip to Guatemala to install 100 high-efficiency stoves and to deliver 100 water filters to two communities in the mountains near Jalapa. They will return with us at the end of 2024 to continue support to the poorest communities in the area.
